Knutsford Hotel underwent a face-lift exercise in the second half of the year and was relaunched on 26 December 2006 under a new brand THE LUXE MANOR, positioned as the first designer boutique hotel in Hong Kong.
On 19 December, GR8 Leisure Concept opened its first fine dining restaurant ASPASIA on the 1st floor of The Luxe Manor.
